Bernd Decker, who has built up ERS Railways and played a key role in shaping its development since its foundation, will continue to support the company in the area of sales during a transitional phase. Mathias Leiner (45) holds a degree in business administration and brings 15 years of management experience in the transport and logistics sector. The focus is on digitalization and strengthening process quality, as well as the further expansion of the network together with the partners of the boxXpress portfolio.
ERS was bought by Hupac Group in 2018 and offers maritime intermodal transports from the German and Dutch seaports to the economic centers of the German hinterland as well as Switzerland and Austria.
