The second test train will be announced in the next few weeks, allowing planning for regular operation to finally begin. The current plan is to operate one round trip between Austria and Spain every week. However, it is envisaged that this will increase to three or four round trips per week in the future. In terms of organisation, the Rail Cargo Group is in charge of operating the whole route for Hödlmayr International. For the section between Saarbrücken in Germany and Barcelona (and vice versa), the French railway company SNCF will take over as the carrier, together with its subsidiary Captrain España.
