The Lugo Terminal in Italy has been severely affected by recent flooding that has inundated the region, causing extensive water damage in Lugo and the surrounding areas.

Access to Lugo Terminal was regained in the morning of 23 September 2024, allowing teams to begin cleaning operations. However, the receding waters have left behind significant deposits of silt and mud, requiring additional cleanup efforts.

Urgent work is in progress to restore the terminal's connection to the electrical grid. The national railway line serving the area is expected to remain closed until September 30, 2024. Lugo Terminal is in constant communication with relevant authorities to expedite the restoration of services.
