Ermewa has entered into its first partnership with LTG Cargo Polska for the lease of 40 intermodal wagons.

The handover took place in Poprad, Slovakia, for the brand new Sgmmnss wagons. All 40 wagons were manufactured at the Tatravagonka plant in Poprad. LTG Cargo will operate the 40-foot wagons mainly in Northern Europe on the route from Lithuania via Gdansk in Poland to Duisburg in Western Germany. This cooperation is a valuable addition to LTG Cargo's existing fleet.

"We are very pleased to start this partnership with Ermewa as it allows us to further strengthen our intermodal capabilities and meet the growing demands of our customers. The addition of these 40 container wagons from Ermewa will improve our operational efficiency and enable us to increase the volume of our multi-destination freight services," said Michał Szlendak, CEO of LTG Cargo Polska.

Ermewa is currently making significant investments in the intermodal sector in response to the growing demand for 40-foot container wagons. Cyrille Guyon, Deputy Manager of Ermewa, points out: "Ermewa is proud to expand its client network in Poland with such a strong partner as LTG Cargo Polska. Together we are focusing on the growth segment of rail freight, intermodal transport".

LTG Cargo Polska is owned by the Lithuanian rail freight company AB LTG Cargo, which is part of the largest group of railway companies in the Baltic States, the Lithuanian state-owned company AB Lietuvos Geležinkeliai. The company specialises in freight transport and forwarding services to various destinations.

"This partnership with Ermewa allows us to further strengthen our intermodal capabilities and meet the growing demands of our customers. The addition of these 40 container wagons from Ermewa will improve our operational efficiency and enable us to increase the volume of our multi-destination freight services," said Michał Szlendak, CEO of LTG Cargo Polska.
