The company has a portfolio of 120 wagon types. These are divided into eight segments. These are aggregates and worksites, automotive, chemistry, grain, energy, intermodal, palletised goods and steel.

The key to this is close and trusting cooperation with our customers and manufacturers”, says Peter Reinshagen, Ermewa's Managing Director. "Our latest investment in car-carrier wagons is a further step in broadening our range," he adds.
Since 2024, the portfolio has also included the transportation of finished vehicles (automotive segment). Over the past five years, the intermodal fleet has been significantly strengthened.
The average age of the wagons has been reduced by five to seven years, depending on the type. Ermewa concludes that in the coming years, brand-new wagons of various types will continue to expand and modernise the fleet.
