Hupac: expanding intermodal network for the UK and Europe

Hupac is launching a new rail service between Antwerp Combinant and Zeebrugge CLdN terminals, providing a connection to/from the UK via the CLdN Short Sea Service.

The shuttle train will operate with a frequency of 5 return trips per week. The service will commence on 27 February 2023 and all materials will be allowed on the route, including dangerous goods (ADR and RID).

With this new connection, Hupac's network based on Antwerp & Zeebrugge will be able to connect all major European economic areas:

  • Barcelona (Spain)
  • Perpignan (France)
  • Gadki, Brwinów (Poland)
  • Duisburg DKT & DIT, Schwarzheide, Ludwigshafen (Germany)
  • Vienna (Austria)
  • Budapest (Hungary)
  • Ploiesti (Romania)
  • Halkali (Turkey)
  • Novara, Busto Arsizio (Italy)

Another connection will also be strengthened. The frequency of the Zeebrugge CLdN / Antwerp Combinant - Ludwigshafen KTL service will be increased from 5 to 6 departures per week.
