Europe's second largest lessor of electric locomotives thus invests to participate in the growing French rail leasing market.

The Paris office is headed by Frédérique Erlichman. A new legal entity "RAILPOOL France SAS" will be registered as a 100% subsidiary of RAILPOOL.

Torsten Lehnert, CEO of RAILPOOL, says: "The ongoing establishment of RAILPOOL France SAS and the opening of our French office in Paris underlines our ambition to bring the benefits of true full-service rolling stock leasing to this country of railway tradition and innovation. We see a positive local market environment and are investing to participate in the growing French rail leasing market with the clear objective of having a high quality organisation in France by the time the first locomotives are delivered in 2025".

In addition, with the order of 50 Alstom Traxx Universal multi-system locomotives earlier this year, RAILPOOL is offering the market brand new locomotives for the first time to ensure sustainable high performance rail transport out of France and along the main European corridors.

And the head of the new office in Paris, Frédérique Erlichman, adds: "RAILPOOL is a European leader with a strong commitment to investing in the French market. I am delighted to be leading the launch of the company's activities in France and to establish beneficial long-term relationships with railway companies and maintenance centres. I look forward to building a motivated team to serve our customers over the coming years."
