Board of Directors has chosen Benjamin Niederhauser (36) as the new leader of the Division Components and a member of Stadler's Group Executive Board from 1st October 2023.

He will replace Christian Spichiger who has served at Stadler for 21 years. Spichiger has greatly helped Stadler achieve success in his different roles, whether it was managing the FLIRT project, setting up Stadler Polska in Siedlce, or leading the Division Central Europe and the Division Components. He will also pass on the management of the Components Department from 1st October 2023. In the coming years, he intends to grow and advance the power converter industry.

"In the various functions Christian Spichiger has held in the Group, he has made a significant contribution to Stadler's success. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to him for the work he has done, which has been very valuable for Stadler," said Peter Spuhler, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Benjamin Niederhauser, the current Deputy Head of the Service Division, joined Stadler in 2016 and took on different managerial positions starting in 2018." Before he started working at Stadler, he worked as a project manager at a Swiss management consulting firm. He has a Master's degree in economics from the University of Zurich.

“In Benjamin Niederhauser, we have found an outstandingly qualified manager from its own ranks to head the Division Components”, says Markus Bernsteiner, Group CEO.

According to the Stadler statement, this new generation shift will enable Stadler to maintain consistency, not just in terms of its lasting triumph, but also concerning the confidence of staff, clients, and collaborators.
