Czech logistics provider MIB Logistics is focusing on shifting freight flows from road to rail, offering end-to-end rail transport, siding services and last-mile solutions. The company targets a wide range of commodities while responding to ESG and sustainability requirements.

MIB Logistics is positioning rail freight as a practical alternative to road transport by offering integrated logistics solutions covering rail transport, siding operations and advisory services. The company aims to support long-term modal shift by combining rail traction, infrastructure access and operational know-how.

The portfolio includes rail transport of waste, biomass and containerised cargo, including last-mile applications. Solutions are tailored to individual customer requirements rather than standardised routes, reflecting the complexity of industrial and municipal freight flows.

A key part of the offer lies in rail siding services, where MIB Logistics supports customers with siding operation, communication with public authorities, locomotive provision and technology design. This approach targets shippers with existing rail access who require operational or regulatory support to keep sidings viable.

Beyond operations, the company also provides consulting services focused on promoting the advantages of rail freight and identifying opportunities to replace road transport. This includes technology proposals and innovative concepts aimed at future-proofing freight logistics.

The strategy reflects growing pressure on shippers to improve ESG performance, reduce emissions and secure more resilient transport chains. By combining rail transport, terminal and siding expertise, and last-mile integration, MIB Logistics positions itself as a facilitator of practical road-to-rail transition rather than a pure transport provider.
