The HighPerformanceBase has a square profile with a wooden support. Together with DHATEC's common pipe transport system, the HighPerformanceBase enables a payload of two to four additional pipes per wagon. With a maximum load of 147.5 tonnes per wagon, the loading capacity has been increased by a third.
For this transport, carried out by DB Cargo for the pipe manufacturer Europipe, 4 bases are mounted on an Inno wagon. Only a few months passed between the enquiry in August 2022, the first prototype tests in October and the delivery of the first 80 bases at the end of January 2023.
The HighPerformanceBase serves as a carrier on which a wide range of products can be transported. This development has created a universal product that can transport a wide range of goods thanks to its supporting surface. In addition to pipes, the HighPerformanceBase can also be used to transport slabs or concrete parts easily and safely - flexibly adapted to the respective load.
