České dráhy (ČD), the Czech national railway carrier, will introduce a new night service from Prague to Przemyśl from 14 December. The route offers direct access to southeastern Poland and coordinated onward connections to Ukraine.

ČD will expand their night-train offering with a new overnight service from Prague to Przemyśl, operating daily from the timetable change on 14 December. The connection brings direct overnight travel to the Polish–Ukrainian border region, responding to growing demand for long-distance night transport in Central and Eastern Europe.

The service will operate with a through second-class seated coach and a refurbished air-conditioned couchette coach. The train will depart Prague at 22:16 as part of EN 443 Slovakia, arriving in Przemyśl at 10:10 the following morning. In the opposite direction, the train leaves Przemyśl at 17:51, arriving in Prague at 07:46. The ČD coaches will run under numbers EN 50443 (outbound) and EN 50417 (inbound).

The service provides overnight arrivals to Kraków and Rzeszów, with morning arrival at Przemyśl as a transfer hub for Ukrainian Railways trains towards Lviv, Kyiv and Kharkiv. Transfer times are coordinated to account for border procedures.

ČD CEO Michal Krapinec said the new route reflects increased interest in night travel to southeastern Poland and Ukraine. He added that night trains are experiencing a Europe-wide revival and ČD plan to continue developing routes where demand is strong.
