This addition follows an original order of 20 four-car RegioPanter-based units from Škoda Group. Each of these additional trains will provide over 300 seats and include modern air-conditioning, offering an updated travel experience for passengers.
These units will replace older rolling stock, aligning with Bulgaria’s efforts to improve rail services and operational efficiency. This procurement marks a milestone as it will be funded through Bulgaria's Transport Connectivity Programme 2021-2027, part of the EU infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing regional transport networks.
