Hupac to increase Cologne–Malmö intermodal frequency to five weekly roundtrips

The adjustment aims to improve capacity and operational reliability along the Germany–Scandinavia corridor.

From 6 October 2025, Hupac will increase the frequency of its intermodal service on the Cologne–Malmö route from four to five roundtrips per week.

The Köln Nord terminal will continue to function as a central hub within the network, linking northern Europe with Italy. It currently handles 11 weekly roundtrips to and from Busto Arsizio, enabling coordinated transfers between the Italy–Scandinavia and Germany–Scandinavia corridors.
